The data we collect

• Your order: your name, email address, delivery address, the products you buy and the amount you pay.
• Your payment: your card details are entered on secure fields provided by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Your messages: what you write to us by email, for example about a return.
• Technical data: like any website, our server records your IP address, your browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site working and secure.

How we use your data

• To process, deliver and follow up your order, send your free eBooks and handle returns and refunds. This is necessary to carry out our contract with you.
• To keep our accounting and tax records, because the law requires it.
• To answer your messages, prevent fraud and keep our site secure. These are our legitimate interests.
• To send you news and offers, only if you have agreed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the services we rely on:

• Stripe, which processes your payment and helps prevent fraud. Stripe is also responsible for some of this data under its own privacy policy.
• Our delivery partners, who receive your name and delivery address.
• Hostinger, which hosts our website, and our email provider.
• Shopify, whose network delivers some of our product images and so receives your IP address.

We may also share data where the law requires it.

International transfers

Our company is based in the United States, and some of our providers process data outside the United Kingdom. When your data leaves the UK, we make sure it is protected by the safeguards required by UK law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK’s approved data transfer contracts.

Cookies and storage on your device

Our site stores a little information in your browser so it works properly: your basket, and the advert or link that brought you to us. This information stays on your device.

On our checkout page, Stripe uses cookies and reads information about your device to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies at the moment. If we start to, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your order details for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes, generally six years. We keep our email exchanges for up to two years after your last message. Server logs are kept for a short period only.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it, and ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Children

Our products are for children, but our site is meant for parents and other adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security and changes

Our site is served over a secure connection, and payments go through Stripe’s certified systems. We may update this policy; the date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
